[2017-11-09]NIU successfully executed national Smart Agriculture 4.0 Project

To overcome the shortage and aging mapower issues in Taiwan’s livestock industry, sponsored by Agriculture Commission, NIU successfully executed the national Smart Agriculture 4.0 Project. Through digital tools, it helps to collect and analyze data in henhouses for better outcomes.


Dean of NIU College of Bioresources Prof. Dr. Yi-Chich Chiu is the project leader. According to Agriculture Commission, this project could reduce the affection of bird flu and increase productivity. Taiwan would be very glad to promote our knowledge and experiences to southeastern Asian countries whose climate condition is similar to ours.
