[2020-4-15] Discovering Start-up Aboriginal Youth Star
Youth Development Administration of Ministry of Education collaborates with Council of Indigenous Peoples for the first time to launch U-start原漾計畫, in order to improve aboriginal youths’ ability to start an undertaking and the power of new ventures. There will be 12 groups to be on the list of the authority grant, and each of the group will receive five hundred thousand for entrepreneurship this year.

The topics of the 12 groups this year include feature agriculture, deep discovering of the tribe, creative culture, and digital economy. There are a lot of diverse topics.

One of the examples for feature agriculture is “Brave Bee Team” from National Ilan University. They help the transformation of culture of indigenous tribe by focusing on the skill of beekeeping and training on product development. They want to increase the job opportunities in tribes via bee-related products.
