Dr. Peter Chen, Provost of University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE), visited our school on August 24, 2020, discussing students exchange agreement and Joint Dual-degree cooperation plans with Professor Yilin Yu, Dean of Office of International Affairs, Zheng-feng Lin, Dean of College of Humanities and Management, Jun-wei Lai, Chair of Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, Pei-Wen Clio Kao, Director of Division of International Student Affairs, and Ya-wen Tang, Director of International Academic Cooperation.

The University of the West of England (UWE) is one of the most popular universities in the UK. It is located in Bristol, the largest city in the southwest of England. It is a modern research university offering more than 600 undergraduate, graduate, professional and short-term courses, covering many subject areas, such as: art, design, business, applied science, computer science and education, etc. The Guardian ranked its teaching quality as the sixth in the country. There are about 3,000 international students from more than 140 countries around the world.

The Office of International Affairs will strive to promote substantial academic exchanges between the two parties and encourages students from our school to study at prestigious universities abroad. We hope to complete the signing of a memorandum of cooperation before the end of this year. We will have the first British partner school to broaden our teachers and students’ international horizons and enhance international mobility.
